some people don't so much as hoard as they don't bother with people demanding free labour, on top of the mountains of free labour they have already provided for everyone up to that point

Rider is the first person like this that comes to mind. AFAIK he ran the Hub back in the day, which I was too late to be a part of, but have heard glorious things about.

The hub was great. I took it on and ran it till about 2011 but we only had about 8 odd users by the end so I took it offline. Actually reinstalled dc++ the other day to share my Pumpkins collection on a few music hubs still going. I could resurrect the hub but not sure there's an interest as pretty much all audio we upload to archive.org or YouTube for video (albeit some potential quality loss with conversion)

I think alot of people also go to spfc to check on live recordings of shows but http://www.splra.org is where we're actively updating these days

I really appreciated the HUB for the studio (radio station) bootlegs. those aren't on archive or anything...
Thanks!

I was a major user of SPFC, but have been using SPLRA this last year when I noticed it is much more active. These sites are such a piece of my identity. Sad at how many of these repositories are gone.

There is still leet hoarders out there. I have complete logs (up to 2005) of the old AMSP and people seemed to have access to the pastichio medley demo tapes. Referencing with they are discussing 20+ years ago with the "shall not be mentioned" stuff seems spot on. Tracking the user names for leads has lead me to a practicing doctor but they have yet to respond to my emails. lol

The dude that runs (or someone heavily involved) SPFreaks has cassettes full of unreleased BC stuff.

I have some screen grabs and NFO's of stuff that wouldn't finish seeding from the mid 00's with strange track titles.

Loved the hub back in the day.

Someone way back then was even kind enough to send me a giant spindle of burned live CDs they didn't want anymore. Held onto those until last year, after ripping the ones that might still be needed.

there's also this: https://forums.netphoria.org/showthr...181058&page=16

if anyone has any upgrades or extras to add to that, please do.

it would be great if there was somewhere to get the few live shows not allowed up on archive.org

maybe we could get a list of magnet torrents going for those too?

Are you referring to Sequence IV or something else in that thread? If it's Sequence IV you may be in luck

I'm also slightly out of touch with what archive.org can and can't have uploaded these days as I've seen a few things in recent years which I maybe thought couldn't be added. I'll work with NickS around a potential solution for this and the videos side of things

i wasn't referring to anything in particular, just that if anyone has a lower gen or more accurate version of anything there, to speak up and share it.

and the same deal for if there's anything else yet to be added to the list.

absolute best thing about this band is the sheer volume of content and how available it is. makes other fandoms disappointing cause it's so hard to find bootlegs and demos and shit

I think people may be a bit disappointed when they hear the non EQ'd version.. Ivor didn't do such a bad job after all
