"Ali Larijani also recommended that Western nations consider the recent comments from U.N. nuclear watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei, who said Saturday that a strike on Iran would turn the Middle East into a "ball of fire."

"We advise you to take Mr. ElBaradei's warnings seriously and not to be after provoking Iran. In that case, you will face our predestined action, and returning to interaction will become impossible for you," Larijani said in parliament in Tehran."

Maybe some of you have heard of The PNAC group. the neo-con group that was formed in the 70's with Rumsfield and Cheney and others. Their goal way back then was to gain a foothold military base in the mid-east. Puppy Bush becomes their lap-dog to get that done, and now, mere months from being out of their seats of power, do you think they will or will not attack Iran to further an agenda they started in the 1970's?

The US government has been spending years on a public relations campaign in the major American media outlets trying to drum up support for war against Iran. Blowing the whole "Iran going nuclear automatically means them nuking Israel" hysteria out of proportion in an attempt to justify a war.

Iran is the biggest story of the moment.

It seems to be damned if you do, damned if you don't. I know about the campaigns to get the public drummed up for yet another war, but the thing is the Jihadist Wahabi sect of Islam is bent on bringing down the west. They know they have willing accomplices and apologist all over American and western media and take advantage of it.

OPEC is threatening dire economic consequences if there's an attack, which no doubt there would be, but since those nations just as well just as well see us crumble they may be saying those things to bide more time for Iran to get a nuke and use it.

Iran is pushing for a greater Persia in which Tehran is the center of it. Ahmjadinijad is on record on saying he'd sacrifice 50% of his population to drive every Jew into the sea. That is some gangsta shit right there. Are you willing to call his bluff?
