only part I can think of is the pauses in between sections, like "shattered as belief" into "if you have to go"

that bar, which contains only a single sustained chord, suits 3/4 better than 6/8 because then the pulse matches the surrounding bars (and most of the rest of the song) in 4/4

that's on the studio recording. in live performances, they stretch out the pause longer

in the studio, it's plausible that they could have simply edited it together that way, the different sections could even be different takes recorded separately

in the end it's kind of meaningless to specify the timing of a pause that is arbitrarily long for dramatic effect

so anyway str4wb is objectively wrong
