What's wrong with Brisbane? I went on a family holiday to the Gold Coast when I was thirteen, stayed with some family friends who had moved out there. We went into Brisbane a few times. Seemed ok to me, although that was a long, long time ago.

I’ve lived in Melbourne and Sydney but never visited Brisbane. It just seems like it would be a smaller version of Sydney where people have a more provincial mindset. So, not the end of the world, but not worth going out of my way, to visit either

I'm not sure which cities I wouldn't like to visit, I can't really say which ones I'd want to go to, off the top of my head. I went to Helsinki years ago, that was a nice place.

Curious, have you actually been to Cleveland? For better or worse it's one of the only towns I've ever been to where downtown is actually better than the rest of the city.
