What Cities Do You [I]Never[/I] Want to Visit?

Houston is easily the worst city in terms of getting around of any city I've ever been to. Godawful traffic, takes forever to get anywhere and not great public transit, it's a complete mess.

I hate New York City. Unfortunately I've been there a number of times. It's a dark, oppressive, dirty shithole filled with schemers and hustlers, and everyone is always in their fucking "costume" cause no one can be a normal person in NYC, you have to go there to find yourself, which seems to mean becoming a caricature of a creative person with something meaningful to share with people. It smells, the green spaces including central park are filthy and seem like vague approximations of the real outdoors constructed by people who have been in a space ship for generations or something. Also NYC swallowed a woman I loved.

I'm sure the native New Yorkers are mostly fine. I guess. They seem fucking obnoxious though. I think I heard enough romanticized fake BS about NYC after 9/11 to last several lifetimes

It’s not that I never want to visit, it’s just that I’ve seen them too many times on social media so I think there will be lots of tourists there, and that will ruin anything nice that could be expected

i used to feel this way but lowkey its different now and kinda chill i think coz it got so expensive and extravagant that the bubble burst,,, or maybe i just feel this way coz i glowed up and am able to allow myself to get that good dopamine rush of being intertwined with the motion

This is extremely fucked up and obviously against my moral and political beliefs. I'm not aligned with the Deep South core values. I understand not coming here. I just haven't found anywhere else East or West where I can afford even a slice of middle class life. The specific place I'm in doesn't feel like a crushing republican hellscape so far, which is more than I can say for my years in Alabama and parts of Texas. Hopefully I can just build a bubble of good people and stay in it. I share your opinions, though.
