This board was dying when I joined it and it's just gotten more dead since. Billy would have to release an album that sounded like something he did in the 90s or bring back D'Arcy to get any more activity here I imagine. Or put out the Machina reissue.

it's gone through so many phases of death. people were saying it was dying in the early 2000s when I started lurking. then zeitgeist came out and there was an insane flood of newbies. it's been back and forth. it was super dead in the mid 20 teens too, and then there was a random resurgence with the chat that excludes people and stuff. now it's as dead as it's ever been again, except there does seem to be more activity on the SP board since Aghori

this board is truly one of the last great places online. it's a treasure, it's an honor posting with you fellows. just like the pumpkins feel like they sort of, isolate a very specific tender feeling and plug it into a fuzz pedal, this board does the same in terms of connecting w others who share the sentiments - i can't talk about the drums on hummer irl!! -- i don't even mind when it gets slow anymore

i don't see why it should cost more than 5c/month to keep up, it's a goddamn BBS forum, that's nothing computation-wise these days.
