I loved Goliath until the end and then it disappointed me. Nearly died laughing a few times. So stupid and fantastic. I wish it had leaned further away from stupid at the end though. All that needs to happen to make this viewing experience complete is allegations against BBT

Mr. Robot is amazing. Why don't you like it? I haven't seen anything in it that I don't like, so far. The cast, especially Rami Malek and Christian Slater, are terrific, the storyline is great. Sam Esmail is a great writer.

I find Malek to be awful and also felt like his overacting was the worst thing about that Until Dawn game he did. It's like he trained at the same institute as Hugh Dancy of Hannibal, where any form of subtlety whatsoever is abruptly shown the door.

It's been too long for any highly specific critique, to be completely honest, but I basically found the entire thing (having bailed after the first season) to be like 70% Fight Club, 10% American Psycho and 20% [insert any lame hacking-themed movie here]. It was predictable as fuck and I quickly tired of them playing suspense with the most obvious developments ever.

P.S. I spotted the boom in one scene.

P.S.S. My prediction is that the show will just kind of annoy teh b0lly!!1, but look forward to the post(s).

to be fair, the inclusion of Christian Slater alone is probably a good enough reason to skip any show.

The nicest thing I'll say about it is that they couldn't have done much better with the casting of Stephanie Corneliussen as the show's Lady Macbeth figure. She projects an almost soulless, reptilian cunning that's quite effectively intimidating.



I'd seriously have to watch it again to see if blinking forms a part of her ocular repertoire.

I connected more with the show. as an electrical engineer, programmer and hacker, the show inspired me to continue what I do. I really like Malek's character.
