I can't tell sometimes if I have never heard these versions or if I just heard them 15 years ago and then forget about them. Is this from the FAEOMM tape? Or do we need to call the FBI?

What are the latest excuses of William Patrick Corgan for the decades of delay of the MACHINA reissue?
The story of the problems with the production of the vinyl records version due to the increased order situation at the pressing plants must be already a year old...
I guess Universal is more interested today in the release of the vinyls of the next Beatles reissue?

Yes, I am waiting
In silence throne
To fill the meetings
To strike me down
No more a reason
Than god above
Let your curses run
Yes, I am waiting
For your expanded, reimagined reissue

beguiled but i'm still wild
trapped betwixt the myriad spires
had a wife and had a child
alas find myself setting fires

i play the chords i knew best
i put on my sacred dress

beguiled

beguiled

Imagine actually wanting a Machina box instead of a Revolver box.

Yikes.

yeah its gonna be complete ass most likely... the machina reissue will only be good to piece together with the vanilla versions of Machina and Machina II

lol at people shitting themselves over this.

The album track is about as good as this song ever got - the "Glass" bit anyway, before the spoken interlude + the overly fuzzed final section.

What's so great about this? It sounds exactly like you'd imagine an acoustic version would sound i.e. it's OK.

There's a lot wrong with Machina, but the first half of this song is not one of them.

If machina reissue never releases at least we are spared from hearing 2018 jimmy playing a really simple beat over white spider

it's not that at all, we've had a version like that for years and this is something completely different - more in line with certain non-album SD tracks or the BSBT alternate version than the alb version. which is cool & probably fits the album as we know it better, but hearing the 3 (4?) of them just laying back & playing such an atmospheric & understated version of this otherwise (to use one of Father Patrick's favorite words of all time) grandiose beast I would say warrants the reaction

1. The spoken interlude + fuzzed out outro is my favorite part of the song so go easy buddy

2. Arising era pumpkins in particular was great you could really hear every member's personal flair coming through so clearly. Yeah this sounds like an arrangement that could have been played on any given show of the era, but -

3. I just liked the fidelity of this version. Every instrument sounds very defined and the drums have a pristine jazz tone you don't usually hear on SP recordings. Beautiful tape sound before it gets squashed and brightened up in mastering. This is what Pumpkins sounded like when they record like Duster
