I went back to the 9 song CYR playlist I made of the only remotely listenable songs recently. I deleted two more songs. There’s maybe 6-7 ok songs on it at best. It’s the sound of a guy no longer chasing his muse, but chasing his tail trying to do something he thinks the kids will like because he listened to Chvrches one time.

True that....i cannot connect to this kind of esoteric stuff, and talking about the stupid story made up afterwards...

The songs do not touch me anymore.... The song writing is weird too, well....even if there are2-3 folky songs on the record( bill said in episode 3) ithink it's gonna be like cotillions again

i had great hopes for Cotillions and every single track let me down.. in the past there would have been even 1 or 2 tracks on a "bad" album.. but now it's just like every track is bad.. which is sad

Cotillions was one of the weakest Corgan releases ever. Huge disappointment.

Got lots of love for Ogilala and Cotillions, Ogi has less depth but much more accessible. Listened to Cotillions recently and thought it was great.

Agree with the comments above about the new music not having the same effect any more, not to say I don't like it it's just my tastes have moved on. The only thing I can equate it to is it's like following a team.
