Default Thoughts on TAFH reissue?

Impossible to believe one of you out there doesn't have a physical copy.... So I open the floor for your thoughts/review.

No real value in a leak at this point....

It's up where? Why the fuck do you even bother posting about this leak when it's obvious you don't have it.

There is a lot to these reissues, they aren't as simple as you making a mix disc for your girlfriend.

That was meant as a joke. Turns out he actually has it, or so he claims.

Do you think they'd be posting on Netphoria?

i'm wondering, did he mean "a known story" or "a nonstory"?
if i remember it correctly, the story had something to do with james iha. maybe that "take me down" story?

This. Someone mentioned Billy's story in the liner notes about how James refused to let anyone change "Take Me Down" and never wrote for Smashing Pumpkins again. At this point, we'd known the story for a month or two, but to Monte it was a "none story."

It's cool. but the tracklist is weird, and not having Thru The Eyes of Ruby in there is a goddamn crime.

Thru the Eyes of Ruby would of been great for the live disc, but man it is pretty the way it is.

I just got my physical box moments ago its as tall as the Gish and SD deluxe versions staked on each other.

The product is just as nice as all the reissues and the selves are an improvement. i like the little writing on the edge of each disc number and title. Little surprise the DVD didn't have any writing on it.

The DVD is great but the menu authoring is something to be desired.

I wish the sequencing of the live disc was more in line with the usual set lists of the era. Having X.Y.U. as the 4th track is jarring.
Also, it could flow better if they edited it like one continuous concert.

the "sleeves" are an improvement. Really cool foil printing technique.

Have you told this to Billy, or is he still pissed at you about all that shit that got stirred with the chick from By Starlight?

The selves?
sleeves* the sleeves for the CDs are in aren't as flimsy. I like that they are in this folded sleeves so that they do not fall out.
