I *think* I know who recorded that London show with Sonics > D100 at 44.1kHz. It was a taper from Vienna that I often traded with at that time.

How's this coming along, DDoD? You still planning on doing ~11 more... or are you tied up with some `08 tour business?

Quinto murdered everyone involved and took the tapes for the archive project.

But he said there is and Billy said so. I'm assuming that it'll amount to an overpriced re-release of Gish with some bad recordings of some pre-Gish tunes.

Oh fun! Looks like some cool upgrades. Is the Kansas city show an upgrade in sound to the hissy version I have (labeled ANA(?)>WAV>FLAC -- seeded to TSPhub: 3.16.05), or does it just ******* whatever is after Never Let Me Down?

I was wondering what was going on with those tapes. Seems like a long time since I lent them out... No rush at all but I do want them back when you two are done doing your stuff.

Thom, I gave them back to you last November, remember?
Liz and I hung out last weekend when I went to Houston for the Freepress Summerfest thing and she mentioned the tapes were still at her apt. I think you just forgot to take them with you back to England. |

Shit, you're right... sorry man. Well that solves one mystery. I'm glad the stuff's getting out there. I'll have to make sure to have room in my suitcase for them next time I'm over.

Time to come out of the murky depths to download random SP tunes.
Hello yall. WTF? Yall? Damn. I need to drink something less southern than rum. What would that be? Oh yeah, PBR. That'll do it. |

Holy CRAP ... after just a glance at this thread, this is some serious collecting!
I JUST joined, minutes ago. I am actually looking for just over a dozen studio tracks to fill the cracks in my SP collection: 1) My Dahlia/ 2) Sun (Halo Records Compilation, 1988) 3) I Am One/ 4) Not Worth Asking (Original Single, 1989) 5) Tristessa/ 6) La Dolly Vita/ 7) HoneySpider (Original Sub Pop Single, 1990) 8) Jackie Blue (Pravda CD/LP Compilation, 1991) 9) Daughter (Reflex Magazine Flexi, 1992) 10) Drown ("Singles" OST CD, 1992) 11) Terrapin/ 12) Bullet Train To Osaka (B-sides of 10" single "I Am One", 1992) 13) Glynis ("No Alternative", Arista CD, 1993) 14) Infinite Sadness ("Mellon Collie..." Vinyl LP, 1995) This is PROBABLY not quite the actual thread to bring this up, but I'm too new, and still need to post TWO more times before I can begin a new thread! Am looking to trade, or otherwise acquire these 14 tracks, and have a TON of other music to offer. Any inquiries to PM or email ([email protected]) are appreciated and I will respond. Many thanks! is he just looking for the tracks or the actual physical singles? Cause if you wanna hear the tracks, I think all you have to do is just download Mashed Potatoes for most, if not all, of them.
