maybe just get one of those outdoor lights that switches on when you get home.... or program your tv to come on at a certain time when you usually get home.

or a night light that turns on when it gets dark

the most expensive things are: 1. air 2. washer/dryer 3. dishwasher 4. hot water heater
lights really are like $.08 kilowatt hours or something.

i just wondered if you guys turned all the lights and everything off when you left. i don't like it

plus the burglars will think i'm still home!

If I'm only running out for a minute, I'll leave the lights on -- maybe TV if there's a game on. We have little spotlights in the entry way that we'll leave on if we're going out for the night and coming back late to reduce drunken stumbling. Otherwise, no.

Heat and hot water are less of a concern because that's *******d in rent. Woot!

i like turning off all my lights, i dont think it would be much more expensive but i think that way and i wanna save whatever i can now that i cant refill my cup at jack in the box.

When I had an office job I was the only person who turned off my office light when I left the room. People would see it and think I wasn't there that day but I was really just down the hall at a meeting. Sheesh.
