OK Computer is their best album hands down. The 2 cd remaster with all the b-sides and unreleased tracks makes it even more killer.

Lol. If calling OKC their best is "ignore list worthy" than you can put me and my list of potential/attempted alts on there, hobbit COCK

OK Computer is like Radiohead’s Dark Side of the Moon or Siamese Dream. Kid A is like Animals or Adore.
I guess what I’m trying to say is...it’s appels + oranjes. |

in any case that comparison doesn't even make a modicum of sense
Dopesmoker would clearly be the OKC in that situation, with Holy being The Bends |

not because you consistently rank favorite & best separately, but the level of issue you took (hehe!) with people debating that the Holy Mountain in this situation was stronger than the Dopesmoker... you're sick!!!

I went to the first show in Detroit on April 10th. Easily the best SP concert I've ever been to. As stated earlier, you could feel it in the air that this was going to be something special. The band was absolutely on fire and the crowd was ridiculously into the show. Tickets were all general admission and myself and couple friends were located at about what would be considered the "3rd row" of standing people. We were packed in like sardines and all you could literally do was move with the wave of people as the surge ebbed and flowed.
Specifics I remember: - Someone had printed out 'Welcome Back Jimmy' signs and passed them out to everyone - Being approached by crackheads in line who were trying to sell a hair dryer. - The crowd kept chanting Geek USA through the entirety of the set. When it finally was played everyone was going nuts - I remember leaving thinking that this would be the return of the band to it's former glory only for it to truly be the beginning of the end |

Have I to remind you that this thread should be about the Arising Tour, not your personal favorites of Radiohead, which may only interest yourself?!

i got there early in morning on day of show. Paid a scalper all the money i had, which was something like 250 bucks. This was in Pittsburgh.
I was upfront and the speaker was too loud, so i hung back after about the third song. billy wore a skirt and double breasted sport coat. i could see yelena bored and cool from side of the stage the unrecorded machina songs were not catching anyone's interest. was such a long day and towards the end i was thinking how weird and disappointing it is to be in this small club watching them slog through geek usa. this is not the band i thought they were. i started wishing they'd played adore songs instead of hits and new machina stuff. the show ended and everyone had to clear out for the 80s dance party scheduled to start up in short order. |
