Great list! I would start with the 2011 announcement.

Billy Corgan announced on social media that after negotiating for nearly ten years with former record label EMI they are beginning a reissue campaign of all of the original albums.
Corgan is quoted “2013 will see Machina I and Machina II put together in the correct running order and might even be remixed as well as being remastered.”

Machina reissue is going to be included with the new album so you're forced into buying the new album in order to get Machina in a lovely $800 package with trucker hat and Korg Monotron... unsigned.

I think the announcement vid was on the SP YouTube last I checked..someone grab it for posterity, before he realises how ridiculous it makes him look 11 years on and still not released.

Don't worry I have every video SP has released on their YouTube channel backed up. They recently deleted a ton of videos they had on private. Wonder what was the cause of that? Some are still there while others are gone?

I seriously fucking forgot that he started the entire reissue campaign mentioning combining the albums. The bit that stuck in my mind was when he went into detail on the Nexus website three damn years later about it. Jesus.

It was the first announcement of a release. But i'm sure there was stuff on the oboard or on his blogs where he moaned about the 10 years of "legal wrangling" that went on before this...

He was talking about this "archive" stuff (not Machina directly, but at least the last show) and the extra stuff way back in 2003:

But, if he says he's been working on the reissue for 10 years in 2011, that means he was trying to reissue Machina in 2001. One year after release.
