Intrumental sections sound good, and I like the pre-chorus which reminded me a bit of Alice in Chains.

The first riff smells of balls though, and there is no decent vocal melody. The entire band also sounds very static, there is no real flow to the performance.

After a while I have been listening to more Pumpkins lately. Presenting this as the successor of MCIS and Machina is a joke.

Louis Cole sounds good. Very Thundercat-y.

It's better than Solara, better than Anti-Hero (the other SP song this reminds me of), worse than a lot of stuff pre-Shiny. This makes Zeitgeist sound brilliant (I really enjoyed Zeitgeist).

Not a track that makes me disinterested in the new album, but it doesn't raise my low expectations.
