Default Daydream 2007

Does anyone have the That's the Way single? I had thought the B-side was the 1991 version of Daydream, but apparently it's live. I wanted to know about the sound quality versus other live versions. I assume it is the electric version they were playing back then?

Ordered it way back in the day. It was an acoustic performance. It came from some secret show they played right after SP started again in 2007. It was a REALLY small crowd IIRC, and the "Daydream" was just Billy and an acoustic guitar.

Thanks. I found it (FBI might come) and its pleasant but unessential. Wish it was the electric version...

why would that be strange? back in the day, it was really common to put older songs on the b-sides of 7". since this single appeared to be a novelty/collector's item, I think it would make a lot of sense, but I also wasn't convinced: hence the thread. If they had written "live acoustic 2007 mix" or something, then I would know.

Look, a new 7" with a (barely remixed) old song as the b-side. Has anyone ever done this before??

TIL that they actually played an acoustic version of "United States", and it sounds just as awful as you would expect.
