Note obviously seems to be hinting he did something pretty bad when he confronted her; enough that it seems to be the impetus for not being able to see his children at the time. If it was not actually striking her, I imagine he blew up enough to make her fear for her safety.

i wonder if the word confronting was added long after the fact, because i clearly remember that saying "striking you was a bad mistake." put striking where confronting is and that whole thing changes and makes more sense in the context of what he's saying in the rest of that paragraph.

i haven't read that note since it happened, but i remember it saying "striking" and netphorians were commenting at that time how disgusting that was.

anyway, fun fact, my band played a small town fest with him on a bill in his first show post suicide attempt. he watched my set and instagrammed it that was pretty cool. his set was phenomenal.

and he was nice. but at that point was and still am conflicted with his manipulative and abusive behavior he presented at that time. Had that happened in 2020, i doubt he'd been invited to play that same fest.. with my friends that run it being super progressive liberals and all. again, wild how views can change when it comes to abusive behavior, gaslighting, mental health, etc etc in just a matter of a few years.
