It really is fascinating that, for some reason, there seems to be a contingent of posters here who think discussing D'arcy's current life and appearance is off limits. I mean, in the big picture, I can understand this sentiment, but this is a message board that boasts about how horribly it treats people and has body shamed and ridiculed the appearance of pretty much everyone in the band, but pointing out D'arcy's bad plastic surgery puts things beyond the pale.

Well, at least we can go back to talking about Billy's weight and how Jimmy had a weird voice and cleared this throat a lot during interview in the 1990s.

Her weird speech pattern worked as a 90s it girl, but grunge-chic died and D'Arcy just doubled down on drugs and horses and it's grotesque and pitiable. There's no place for her anywhere anymore except as a sideshow if the band can somehow work it out to incluuude her for a tour. They probably wouldn't even pay her fairly.

While I do find it uninspired to repeatedly insult someone's appearance or life-altering mental illness, I see mad cap's point that there's a disproportionate amount of white-knighting on behalf of D'Arcy.

Although if you consider all the drama during Shiny's release, I can see why someone would feel like they have to go all in on choosing sides. I wonder if D'Arcy will be getting a cameo in this blossoming Rock Epic.

D’Arcy is the only member of the classic lineup who’s never been part of a shitty release, that’s probably part of it. Given that Billy has said she influenced his musical choices a lot, it’s not surprising she is missed when he hasn’t put out anything good in over two decades.
