enjoy that for me. word has it they're coming down under early next year so i'm eagerly awaiting any news. I had glandular fever last time they came to perth and i made it all the way to the train station to go into the city to go to the venue and i threw up blood in a bin and decided to go home

I'm seeing BTBAM again on Nov. 20, really pumped. The two new songs that are leaked are fantastic. As good or better than anything they've put out bar maybe Selkies and White Walls.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw them the other week. They're coming to Austin Nov 12th, and I'm thinking about going. I just hope it's going to be a better show.

I saw BTBAM at the gig where they recorded the Colors DVD. It was a really great show. I can understand that maybe they put in a lot more effort though, I'll have to see when they roll through town. Setlist:
Set 1: Foam Born (A) The Backtrack Foam Born (B) The Decade of Statues Informal Gluttony Sun of Nothing Ants of the Sky Prequel to the Sequel Viridian White Walls Set 2: Aesthetic/Alaska/Mordecai Shevanel Cut A Flip Backwards Marathon Ad A Dglgmut Aspirations Selkies: The Endless Obsession |

i've heard mixed things about Pelican live. A friend of mine saw them when he was in philly playing with Earth and Priestbird and said they were really on top of it and then they dropped 'Drought' early in the set and just seemed to have blown their load.

In case anybody who might be interested missed this one, the debut album by Shrinebuilder leaked a while ago. Wino from St. Vitus, Al Cisernos from Om and Sleep, Steve Von Till from Neurosis and Dale Crover from The Melvins. HEEEEAAAAAVY shit. get it here:

there's a new Slayer album on the internets. amazing how these guys keep making exactly the same album time and time again. not very different from what i was expecting, it's not very good, I did like God Hates Us All though. the production is also quite weak here.

yeah man Slayer have fucking horrible production. Kerry King is also the worst soloist in the entire universe. However they live up to their name live. I went to see them cause Mastodon were opening and I wasn't familiar with their shit at the time but god fucking damn that was how a metal show should be. Dave Lombardo moves the universe around his feet.

Apparently a dutch (!!) band called the Devil's blood are a bit of a hype in our neighboring countries. Album sounds like Sabbath, uriah heep and other 70ies hard rock classics.

i think its pretty much every night from reports. They can fit it in cause it's only like a 50-minute album.

Any of you have an opinion on Eagle Twin? I just saw them open for Sunn O))). They like The Melvins a lot I suspect.

I know I'm a bit late but Axe to Fall is pretty neat.
Dark Horse is one of the crunker tracks I've heard in a while. |
