The whole thing is kind of disturbing. I think he's doing a great job, it's given me something to keep myself away from this place.

yeah I like how on the forum sections it has posts like "go lay in your bed crying to faggy music." reminds me of home.

you're an idiot.

both make supped up versions of myspace idiot lyrics. trent takes the more angry and dark side, billy takes the pathetic crybaby path.

haha you're going to make fun of trent for having one song where the CHORUS is repetitive. let me repeat that, the CHORUS. ever hear of a song called rat in a cage by bill corrigan? i can name about 30 other songs by cowboy bill that are more repetitive than anything trent has ever done.

That's a pretty sweet shirt. Sadly I'm sure they will be like $80 if they market them.

I'm meeting trent tommorow in Glasgow, I won some competition and have no idea what the hell I'm going to say to him. probably 'please sign my fragile vinyl' then drool.

Maybe I should ask him about Billy.

But it's not so great as a show opener. I'm not sure how I feel about this DVD in comparison to the last one. The energy was (mostly) there, but the new band didn't seem as tight as the last, so some of the older songs turned out to be a bit of a let down. Aaron North gets really annoying sometimes twirling around, playing completely random notes. The music video clips in the "Body of Work" section are cool. Too bad they're not the full videos. The best part of the concert was Eraser/Right Where It Belongs/Beside You In Time. I was all for that Self Destruct screen comeback.

*sigh* I miss the days of Trent tackling Danny Lohner randomly throwing Robin Finck into the crowd.

you have no idea how insane it is hearing some guy being beaten and realizing this is the first time they've played this song in 11 years.

i agree. best opener EVER. well, following Muse's Map of the Problematique...

but yeah, great way to open the show. I would have loved to have heard Mr. Self Destruct though.

oh, and I feel like the DVD doesn't have enough of The Fragile on it. only one song, right? I mean, it's a good one. but i guess they were all covered on the last DVD. I guess I would have liked fewer repeats overall. especially since songs like Terrible Lie, Head Like a Hole, March of the Pigs, etc. sounded exactly the same, if not a bit worse, than they did on AATCHB.

but all this complaining aside, it's an excellent DVD. I had to watch it on my computer though....I can't wait until I go home and can blast it on a TV so it echoes through my entire house. yeahhhh

Best part of BYIT, upon revision would have to be Closer -> The Only Time -> Closer.

Fucking genius.
