No, I know that's why he said he canned it. That, in his view, fans didn't like the songs when he performed them live. What I'm saying is, what if he didn't like the album he made? That it actually turned out like shit, and instead of admitting that, he's blaming it on us?

I'm saying even when the band hated each other (allegedly) & only had two fellows recording everything, it sounded more like a band than the recent shit, and now even with at least 3 original "membos" at the board it actually does sound like individual folk recording independently of each other, with no pretensions of making anything sound like a band in a room

then again, who's to say we haven't been gratuitously lied 2 for years, as suggested by topley BOYD up here!

There’s no way, zero chance that it’s finished and good. Because if it was he’d have released it as a $250 limited edition vinyl, book, tea and capo box set already.

At the very least he’d have announced an announcement and forgotten about it until someone asks and he either blocks them on Instagram or rambles about key metrics and sustainable business models.

There'll be a tour + announcement of an announcement. Mid way / after the tour they'll maybe release a single. And maybe they'll release a video for the single a month later.

They'll then wait ~6 months until any possible hype from the tour and single have dissipated to start planning a lengthy, convoluted album release campaign. WPC will open the first meeting with "So we need to approach Luca Guadagnino to do the first two season of the series".

Questions like "wouldn't it make sense to have Machina in print before we release this?" and "series? FIRST TWO seasons?!" will be asked.
