You’d think having Jeff playing the extra little guitar bits would be good. But the James Corden performance of Today showed that it’s not. The whole band sounded restrained and wimpy. With three guitars Billy and James have to turn down to leave space in the mix for Jeff. I’d rather just hear their two guitars raging at full bore. Ymmv.

What I really don’t understand is that the kids really like Siamese Dream nowadays. It’s the slacker aesthetic of the art, and the depressed-but-sounds-cheery vibe of the album. It would sell so fucking good. Gen Z would be there.
