The fact that you haven't risen to the prodding I'm giving Billy speaks volumes of your professional conduct, and, from what little I did see, you were one of the few that genuinely tried to speak to fans like they're human beings. It doesn't take a fucking genius to notice that monte has a palpable animosity towards anyone that isn't Billy or a person that can get him closer to him, and it doesn't stem from people bullying him or being jealous, he's just a lousy person that treats people like shit - that there is why people fucking hate him.

Where did she say that she was referring to netphoria as the majority of the fan base? No one was supposed to know about this, but monte blabbed it to everyone and when the info was revealed by HU much later, Monte accused his writers of telling HU. I don't have those email screenshots but others do. Also, he blamed his writers when Billy asked about it all.

I've deleted my twitter account yesterday. I don't see the point in being part of this crap anymore. I gotta hand it to Monte though, he is a mastermind and smarter people are trying so hard to beat him and are furious they are not as recognized. He was the head of the lucky 13, he lead a group of people with university degrees in various subjects. Also, He never fights back very hard, all the real bad stuff is behind the scenes, so people think he is a victim when we "dog pile" him.

I have always had two theories:

1. That Billy was given another handicapped person a chance, like he would his brother.

2. He knew Monte was someone who we would hate, so it was the ultimate revenge.

3. Monte showed Billy he was willing to do anything for him (ultimate loyalty and would never ask for money) and Billy has no time nor care to devote money to communicating with fans.

I don't really know what SPuk and Bystarlight have on Monte, but don't be surprised if they don't share. I don't think they are done.

I just want to say that I did try to be Monte's friend and I thought the day I hung out with him (day before the cruise) he was okay. I mean aren't we all kinda odd? Also, his wife is a very kind hearted person.

When Monte is around Billy he completely changes. It is like this jealous rage (I have seen it with my own eyes), if anyone seems to get to close. He is not above spreading lies to keep people away from Corgan. He told Rynda that I was a stalker, and that I just wanted to personal info about Billy, and when I had my tiff with Jess V, he wanted to make sure I was punished, not because he cared about JV but to remove any and all competition. I wouldn't be surprised if Billy solely communicates with him because he has convinced Billy not trust the other fan sites. I mean if he can call someone else a stalker....

All in all forget prop 8 for a moment, the real problem is that Monte is the fan rep with only interests in creating a closer relationship with Billy Corgan for himself, he will compete and try destroy any SP fan site that tries to do any good. SPfreaks, SPuk and Bystarlight are not supported by him. Monte has no interest to grow this community, therefore he shouldn't have been appointed "gatekeeper".

I think Billy Corgan should watch the movie Selena.

Nope, it's not resolved at all. There is nothing in this world that would compel me to join a project under his leadership again. I'm sure the feeling is mutual. I just don't want to pollute my Twitter with him anymore. Scotty is right that Nicole's post could have been based on a huge misunderstanding. I'm waiting to hear back from her. As far as I know, her intention was not to defend Monte at all. However, the Prop 8 thing is not the biggest issue at hand (as we have seen throughout this thread).

I agree. In an ideal world, the band would take advantage of the amount of followers that they have on their official social media accounts to share news. I know that the official website can have a news section, but there is no one around to actually post content. A big reason why I started my site was to help improve the band's image online. I wish the band's online branding and presence were prioritized more...seems like a pretty important thing these days.
