I've talked about this before, but before I moved, I also had hundreds of VHS tapes, all of which went to Goodwill (along with the VCR). I gutted about half of my DVD collection, sold a good chunk and with the remainders (stuff I didn't care to display on a shelf but didn't want to part with), I discarded the inserts/recycled the plastic and moved the discs into books. It felt so fucking great and made the move a lot easier.

Do you keep them in storage or with your parents? Not trying to be nosy, just curious.

i actually looked around for storage and it was all unbelievably shady for some reason, it was always a white guy in a vest without a shirt on neogotiating with you and it's like, a bunch of trailers on his property. it was kind of expensive for that but i was lucky to enjoy circumstances that enabled me to put it with my parents, as they (incidentally) moved to a bigger house with sufficient space to put my stuff.

actually that makes me realize how lucky i am to be able to at least do that, worrying about my stuff being locked away in somebody's storage and paying for it would have just added another layer of stress to my life. thankfully my parents could help. ilu mom and dad. peace out. one love. we all gotta stick together. x

Yeah, I get that. I mean, you don't want to be storing your stuff in some unit where some degenerate like Ram27 might be playing his drums and underage drinking next door!

Mike talks about all the stuff of his that his parents have. It seems overwhelming to me. Most of my stuff is rugs

It does get to be a bit much. It's nice to have stuff, but too much stuff eventually just becomes too much shit.

Ram27 i would like you to notice here that although FlamingGlobes challenged you, i certainly have not. i have avoided temptation, and remained loyal to my kingdom. i hope you will consider this as you draw your decision of imploding doom upon this incident. your forever loyal servant and follower, -tebhol1ll!#b

She's very friendly, loves cuddles and scratches and has a lovely purr. One thing which is really cute is that she loves to burrow under blankets, including when we're in bed. I had to uncover her a little to get that second photo.

We tried making a cosy little spot for her in this cubby hole in the bathroom for when we're away. She's really got the zoomies at the moment and managed to squeeze herself in the shelf above, instead.

a new beer store recently opened. they have a very nice section of German beer. I was so happy to have found this. One of my German friends bought most of it, several cases. He almost cried telling me about finding it here. So strange how a simple drink can do that to you.
