I am up for it. In China they have this awesome state TV channell where they only play classic and ethnoChina stuff. I had it turned on almost the whole time when I was in the hotel.

what does the program look like? I have an important exam on 20th, but fuck it - one evening won't save me.

yeah, i went to the warhol show this year - it was good, but really small. And yeah, i thought $12 was a great deal for an evening. Its not like i'll ever be able to afford to go see a hockey game or somthing.

Once I get to meet Tomas Kaberle or Pavel Kubina, I will get a couple of tickets for you as well.

yeah, CCTV - but I don't know the number of that channel - if there's any. Do you get Channel 9 (the English one) as well? Otherwise yes, the rest of the selection felt like a trip back to 1988 and good old State Czechoslovakian Television for me or something

Yeah, it's actually CCTV-9 - it's like state-controlled 'China is awesome - everything is good' news mixed with Mandarin lessons and random Chinese cultural stuff like traditional music. It's pretty cool in that sense, but it is very odd. This Taiwanese guy was talking about it once and laughing about how ridiculous it is. Well he didn't find it that funny

Are you aware that originally all your corp. business had headquaters in Foster City?

Why did you (the corp.) move to San Francisco?

Were your bosses already located in San Francisco when you started your job?

Have you ever been to Foster City?

Does it mean you will have to move to Foster City?

yes, the headquarters has always been in foster city

i moved where i live to san francisco becuase it is city as opposed to the suburbs (before san francisco i was in mountain view, and before taht,a brief stint in foster city, and before that, mountain view)

my bosses, with the exception of 2, have always been in foster city. one is in sf, one is in north carolina

i work in foster city every day, i commute from san francsico

i will not move here (to foster city). i lived here once for a short period of time, and i was working in mountain view (not my current company). and only a week after starting at my current company, headquartered in foster city, i moved to mountain view. taht was pretty ridiculous because it was a 30 minute commute.
it was unavoidable though.

my current commute from san francsico to foster city is about 30 minutes, thuogh it is less if very early am or late night, and more if around 730 am or early evening
