billy performs like 6 songs on acoustic, back in 91.
they are all really, really good.

people hopefully grow up and learn better

billy hasn't. he grew bitter yet his music lies to the listener.

the false realities that he paints are not convincing to the advanced listener.

we know it's bullshit because we know it's not honest.
