Trots declared playing guitar hopeless because he couldn't play a Pixies song immediately after putting his hands on the instrument.

When people suggested that maybe he just practice more until he could and that anybody who doesn't have a motor impairments or a learning disability could probably do it with time, he just got angry because he hates being given realistic and actionable advice instead of having people validate his self-pity.

At least Candy Cane hasn't even gotten far enough to give up out of frustration, declaring not immediately being a virtuoso in something to be reason enough not to start.

solo electric guitar really isn't that great to listen to by itself unless you're an exp player like Marc Ribot or something (for me)

so if you're not gonna play folk and you also don't have the time to network other musicians it's actually not the instrument I would rec

I kinda wish I learned Keyboard or Sax
