once in office they will be puppets to the interest groups in their party. even "reasonable" celebrity right wingers like Arnold were reliant on the party for appointments, advisors, fundraising, etc etc They end up being figureheads who don't know wtf they're doing.
George Bush (the younger) was basically a puppet of the Texas GOP and after to that he was led by the nose by Cheney et al |
