The furnace of desire has completely cooled on that project. Literally no one is begging for it. |

this is the exact crux of my problem with gish... i can get down with bury me, suffer, daydream any day of the week.... siva and rhino are classics........ but no song on gish is as emotionally gripping as say beautiful, trytrytry, or daphne..... not even close

Pleanty of great music doesn't have. If you need your music to be in the pop format, have at it. not everyone needs it, and it's not what's necessary for great music. |

I think we should make a list thread. Netphorians love lists.

i mean it's close, they were right next to each other on my list. but 11 tracks vs 25 tracks is tough to compare. there are so many strong songs on m2.
although if it's just comparing the cr04 14 tracks and not including the 11 ep tracks, that might be different... so cr01-03 > gish > cr04. happy? |

Fuck off talking shit on gish
It occupies a very special, unimpeachable place in the discography There is less artifice, bravado, pressure to be profound. The lyrics are hallucinatory in the best way. You're not meant to connect with some sentiment of billie's i dont reckon. instead the lyrics are prisms through which u shine your own light. and then u see it on the wall and it's whatever u stuck through there that u get back ya assholes |

way to peg yourself a dumbass child fan, havent even experienced life yet, yet sure u can get in here and provide valuable hottake insights to us hasbeens on the music we were listening to back when we first got laid, to which we continue to listen and learn about these decades later suggestion: instead of rendering your shallow, unscientific judgments, tell us your sp story. who are u, who who who who |

basically a song like 'perfect' does it all for me, exactly how i want music to sound.. whereas 'snail' goes completely over my head... i have probably heard 'snail' at least a hundred times by now and i cant hum a single melody from it or recite a lyric |

Don’t worry about rushing to appreciate. Some of these albums takes a long time to hum, just remember life’s a bummer and the more it bums u out the more and more u will enjoy the various colors of guitars speaking of emotions for which there are no names |
