Impressions of Zodion - Page 7

I really like what I’ve heard of Excelsior so far. First song I wanted to revisit after hearing, which I haven’t bothered to do for the majority of Atum. The whole project is pretty laid back, but sonically more interesting and a natural progression. I don’t care for the idea of recording it in mono but can’t really judge until I hear it all in higher quality. Why didn’t they release this instead?

if you pull the "bottom" out of the box there's a CD copy of Zodion hidden in there. mix and sound quality seems the same but it's much more convenient to listen to.

So, correct me if I am wrong, but the non-deluxe issues of this album are:

ATUM on 3 cds for $20
ATUM on 4 vinyls for $80

That seems like a really steep price for new vinyl. I could see them asking $60 for it max, but $50 would make more sense.

it's not that steep for a 4LP tbh
