Everything else is very bad almost unlistenable. The second track Corgan called Sorrow is way worse than his Zwan effort. It’s as if he lost his ghostwriter for this album…

The last track ‘Strayz’ is one of his best songs ever.

Adrenaline (sp) is wayyyy worse than hooray. Hooray is supposed to be corny and cheeky. he's serious with adrenaline.. he's trying to be imagine dragons there and they are god awful.

It's weird, because I agree with just about all the common criticisms of this record, but i just don't reall think it's as severe as people are making it? Like yeah this is ass compared to Siamese Dream but if Siamese Dream is like a 10 this is like a 5 or 6, which is like, just barely good enough to keep me somewhat interested. But IDK. There are some awesome songs here. I love "Avalanche"

Cyr is much, much worse than Atum. Maybe because that was rock bottom, the next record was bound to shine in comparison. But Atum is lukewarm and disappointing ala Oash and MTAE, (though Atum is more awkward in many places) and Cyr is actively horrible.

I agree with this take.. at least out of 33 songs.. 2 of them are probably good on ATUM.. meanwhile CYR had exactly zero good songs

Not true. Cyr had a handful of good tracks. Save Your Tears is better than anything on ATUM.

I own CYR. Like, I bought it. And my constant assessment is that it's just too damn long. I've tried to get thru the whole thing in one sitting, and I just can't. It's way too long and way too same-y.

I see a few folks mention this track, and I couldn't discern it for the life of me. Yet, I throw it on and realize that yeah, this is one of the ten that should have made the cut. And that sucks. Because it's a great song. Should have been the album closer of a ten song album. Instead, it's lodged in a horrible slot at track 11/20.

Actually the title "Swoon" gives me Gish/Lull era vibes.

You know im not sure i even listened to the whole thing in full. But purp blood, confessions, bitch grove. Those are good. And i probably like save your tears although i also cant recall how it goes right now
