Some fun Trivia: Billy did three songs for this soundtrack. One of the songs is titled Shangra-La. Shangra-La was played live in 2006 at a gig with Pete Townshend. Pete Townshend said at the time that he had heard the new SP album and described it as a soft acoustic record.

I wish Corgie had Neil Young's anticommercial integrity, or Bowie's openness to new influences. Or Cheap Trick's [whatever they do]. Why does he ignore his mentors and heroes? Low self esteem? Damn... So many lost opportunities.

In fact the least embarrassing explanation I can think of is that the filmmakers reluctantly signed a contract with Billy where his terms were "You have to use what I give you the first time, and you have to use them all prominently"
