Nobody wants a fake reunion after Billy scorched earth the band (and their music iirc).

He fudged the record. It's a nice record, but he fudged it.

The only interesting left about Zwan are high quality recordings of the live shows, and the unreleased material.

Unfortunately when Billy is going to release something he asks himself "Would Netphoria like this?" and if the answer is yes, it goes back in the vault.

He's sat on material from the 90/00's that would make him a fortune - but he won't release it to spite people who didn't like Teargarden. The fucking joker.

Note obviously seems to be hinting he did something pretty bad when he confronted her; enough that it seems to be the impetus for not being able to see his children at the time. If it was not actually striking her, I imagine he blew up enough to make her fear for her safety.

i wonder if the word confronting was added long after the fact, because i clearly remember that saying "striking you was a bad mistake." put striking where confronting is and that whole thing changes and makes more sense in the context of what he's saying in the rest of that paragraph.

i haven't read that note since it happened, but i remember it saying "striking" and netphorians were commenting at that time how disgusting that was.

I have nothing against Sweeney. I actually like his former band Chavez as well as a couple records he's on. I just think he's the perfect example of how being great at doing public relations is really the most important factor in your career. He's basically the opposite of WPC.

Moreover, i think Matt, Paz, and David P somehow took advantage of Billy with the Zwan affair. They knew all too well he is an insufferable lunatic but got onboard for their 15 minutes at the big table ("What do you mean I have to be there at 11? What do you mean I can’t order $100 of lobster every day?"). They really weren't there to make great music with the Bill, imo.
