Hey, I'm totally cool if Billy wants to give Bluegrass a try. Every time he sets out to do something different it's pretty much always been a variation of electronic music. I always thought SP could have gone for more of a country approach after MCIS, maybe with D'arcy taking the lead vocals on a solid amount of tracks. I know James was a big fan of Whiskeytown and even recorded a bit with them. My only issue with it is that it would be nice to see him take his time on a single project. Bring some Bluegrass into the Mellon Collie sequel if you want, but making a 33 song album plus a Bluegrass album sounds like too much. Are we sure these recordings weren't from last year?

He did a live stream yesterday or the day before. I didn't have much time to hear it, but he mentions that the bluegrass/Americana album will be 12/13 songs with him, Sierra Swan and Hilary Williams alternating lead vocals. Kate Cole is also involved.

After that and the code orange project, he has to come back to Chicago to finish the ""never-ending new pumpkins album".

He has been talking about a bluegrass project since Ogilala.

Yeah, I guess… Willing has been getting paid by Billiam since at least the Adore sessions. He’ll mix anything that Corgan farts out. He knows the secret phrase of the Bald Lord’s supplicants - “I think maybe we should turn the vocals up a tad. What do you think Billy?”

Nice from Miss Swan to share Billy working as a record producer, Howard as being more willing to spend his time on his smartphone while at the console during the recording session, all while trying to find the "Hilary"-singer. With ending her being interviewed beside the declaration wall sheet of the studio computer's WiFi password.

Bolly is doing to much projects at one time. So as the results of the past taught us is that his stuff is mediocre. Maybe fitting his believes but totally miss what fans or casual listeners want or like.
After cyr which had a few good songs, but overall much too long, i had really lost my last hope for releasing a really good album with the 3/4. After i realised that james isnt contributing much and it is all about bill voice up and. Synths....ahhh fuck it...
