I got married and am moving to Mexico City!
Hey guys. Who is still here?
Life back in the USA has been rough for the 14 months since I returned. 1st apartment burned down, moved to Pittsburgh, have student loan debt piling up, earned a masters degree in literacy and reading education that is basically worthless (here), work a thankless minimum wage job in childcare, and live in a slummy apartment with rats... I'm fleeing to Mexico City to work at the American School Foundation, teaching grade 1 and developing literacy programs. My husband (as of 2 months ago) gets to be recognized as my spouse with full visa benefits because Mexico is all about gay marriage. And I can bring my pug. I am going to get so fat. |
