i was gonna say the one atop all the bricks was the best one, but i'm not so sure.. the palace and the digger each give it a run for it's money. too close to call

so what's the story here? they even have bricks on pallets, ready to ship. did they decide one day to say, "Ah, forget it." And drop everything? It's kind of . . . Twilight Zone-ish. Cool, though.

well, i don't think they're abandoned, no... as you can see, quite alot of them are stacked up on palettes. the factory is still in use, but only the far side which i didn't explore. i was kindof in the back yard. there must be hundreds of thousands of bricks there, more of them usable than unusable, but i honestly don't know who deals with them or how. it was awesome though, the place was so eerie. daylight was fading, and the whole time i could hear the ghostly hisses and clunks of machines on the other side of the factory. i didn't see a soul while i was there. all the broken heavy machinery (ie the digger, the crane and various metal structures) had this ancient loneliness about them. too bad i can't go back soon though, the place is pretty far out in the sticks
