Godsmacks alright. They have a few killer songs.
Kind of like a heavier version of Pearl Jam This ones always been one of my favorites of theirs. |

Actually, after revisiting that track, I'd have to say they have more of a hard Alice In Chains sound going on.

So, when does the nu metal revival start?
apparently we're reaching the point where people have nostalgia for that Last edited by LaBelle : 02-24-2015 at 06:46 AM. |

Heres a little way to stretch out the convo:
What do you guys think is the best Nu-Metal song? I think this video/song combination kicks all kinds of ass and perfectly encapsulates what was cool about Nu-metal. |

Granted I only really like that Kid Rock song when I'm loaded. I listen to it sober and it doesn't do that much for me. But when I'm plastered at a strip club or something it's definitely awesome.

It's only good if you're drunk.
I did listen to it sober after I posted it and it was kinda meh... But I saw it the other day when I was loaded watching the retro music station and loved it... Always love hearing it if I'm at a club or strip-club too. |

The music from the 2:55 mark and outwards is awesome. They really amp it up for the end. The cool 2nd lead guitar part that kicks in then really puts the cherry on the cake.

i just want to admit that i've grown a soft spot (mostly genuine curiosity) for kid rock these past few years and that american bad ass song makes me laugh instead of cringe (like nu-metal) so it's okay with me.
