He's already tarnished the Pumpkins legacy. I wish people would just boycott this new material. It's just reinforcing bad behavior to be supportive of this new material.

Billy has allowed himself to become a cartoon character
The whole idea behind Machina was that the Pumpkins would be playing into the way they had been portrayed in the media. They embraced the ridiculousness that people expected from them. But Billy is no longer just playing a role. He has become this cartoon character.

Catherine Wheel was a great fuckin' band though. Pretty much the UK answer to the Pumpkins. Met Rob Dickinson before and he's a top bloke too.
