Live Earth Schedule
Does anyone know the schedule for live earth? Or even when it starts...tickets say 1pm but the website says 230pm.

Al Gore and the other dude who created Live Earth were on Larry King Live tonight.. apparently they are going to make some big surprise announcements of performers tomorrow.. including 1 or 2 secret additional concert locations?! I dont know how they can do that, unless they just give away tickets for free on the day of the show.. i bet U2 is going to be added somewhere.. maybe a new dublin venue?
they're going to post the set times tomorrow also |

My bet is that one of the secret locations will be on a piece of land somewhere in the Arctic Circle whose surface has become newly exposed (as of 7/7/07) due to the increasing rate of glacial melt.

I hope he was exaggerating. But if its true, that would be disappointing.
Plus, if there are 16-17 bands at 20 minutes, that would be under 6 hours. The show is supposed to go from 2-10 or 11. |

I'm afraid not.
18 acts @ 20 minutes each + 17 breaks between sets @ 10 minutes each is ~ 9 hours. The performances begin at 2:30, so this estimation would take the event close to 11:30. |

You may be right, but I dont think they will take 10 minutes between each set. They will try to get everyone in and out ASAP. But what do I know, I'm just hoping.

I think they may just avoid all songs from zeitgeist all together and go with the hits. however it would be hilarious if they just went up and did
Wheres Vince? Spiteface fat man blues jesus loves his babies venus in furs and walked off. |
