Mountain biking at midnight on the BC coast a few days ago with my best friend?
Snorkeling in the Red Sea?
Food fight involving a lot of tomatoes followed up by skinny dipping with two really good friends last autumn?

There have been some really great moments over the past few years.

my happiest memory is when nothing mattered and the world was nice, and new, and friendly and exciting and full of rainbows and unicorns. nothing hurt then. it was so pure. as pure as a swan.

Um, the day I graduated high school. It was a beautiful day, it was in Washington DC, it was mid-June. My ex-girlfriend was wearing this blue and white sundress and I don't think I've ever thought anything was so beautiful. After the actual graduation, which was blah, we sat on this park bench across the street and she just lay her head on my shoulder and I was completely 100% happy.

My happiest memory was definitely my first time seeing avril lavigne in concert, although of course every time I see her it's pure bliss. She taught me the beauty of music, and made me feel pretty again.

When i was about 16 17.

Some friends and I went for a walk and ended up at a basketball court in the park. We layed down on it and stared at the stars and talked. It was beautiful.

I thought of some other ones. I can't pick just one, but I've noticed a recurring theme of being outdoors and in the presence of one person in particular.

Hiking out to the top of Mount Royal on a blistering cold night one December with my best friend and watching a lunar eclipse.
The same person chasing me into the Pacific Ocean, realizing it was 12C in the water, and huddling in my rental car while drinking hot chocolate after to warm up.

picnics with my family down by the creek. we used to live on what was about a square mile of property (that is now a golf course). there was a creek running right through it, and huge fields of tall grass. once in awhile, we'd take a picnic to the other side of the property where the creek entered the property. there were huge trees, and like i said, fields of grass. my brothers and i would either be playing catch with a baseball, or playing football. we'd have foot races, too. i remember my parents just watching us, laughing, smiling. i have four brothers, and three sisters. my sisters would pretty much hang out on the blankets with my parents, and laugh and smile as the boys acted like retards and goofed around. these were some great times. that house we lived in created many memories. we were so free. what's funny is that an old neighbor gave us some golf clubs once, and we made our own golf course in the fields. little did we know we were standing on the land of a future golf course.

the property wasn't ours, so we were forced to move (don't ask why, i have no idea besides we were basically taking care of the land for good cheap rent) so they could build the golf course. i was 14 when we moved out after building our own house.

i got married when i was 22, and our wedding reception was at my old house...that is now the golf course club house. it was fun to go back and show my wife where i grew up. good times.

GREAT THREAD.

also, any moment with my girlfriend (when she's not gone m.i.a.) but particularly when we just get to lie blissed-out in the park on sunny days and stuff like that. not alot of things that can beat that.

the past year and a half, I moved out to the country side to a town I had never been to befor, which turned out to be the most beautiful and awesome place I have ever been. I moved there with a man who I was very new into the relationship but very much in love with. It was a crazy way to start out a relationship, we had only been together for like a month, but it was awesome. We only knew each other and it made us really close, really fast. I made some of the best friends I will ever make and I have never felt so free and happy in my entire life.

Also when I went on a 11 day road trip across western canada, we camped along the way and saw so many beautiful places, we had so much fun.

My whole last trip to Mexico was awesome too.
