Zeitgeist no.1 in Internet and Digital Sales
whatever the difference is.
http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/chart...nternet+Albums http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/chart...Digital+Albums Anyone know where to find the numbers for these sales?? If you notice, T.I.'s not in the Internet chart and I'm wondering if the pumpkins were actually no.1 overall when you add these numbers. |

If there was were no Digital sales, they probably would have sold 250,000

hmm...
Normally new product is released to the American market on Tuesdays. Digital downloads are includ_ed in Billboard 200 tabulation, as long as the entire album is purchased as a whole. Albums that are not licensed for retail sale in the United States (yet purchased in the U.S. as imports) are not eligible to chart. Also ineligible are titles which are sold exclusively to specific retail outlets, such as Wal-Mart or Starbucks (see Billboard Comprehensive Albums). Does this mean that the other 3 versions weren't part of the tabulation?? Were itunes sales includ_ed? I'd just be curious to see what the total number would be. I'm sure all that was thought of though and the record industry wouldn't try to hurt the bands chance on billboard just to make some extra money. |

I think you're right...the label would've thought of this before, and wouldn't do anything to sabotage the numbers even if it resulted in higher sales. |

By the way Tarantula moved up from #9 to #6 on the mainstream rock charts but moved from #2 to #3 on the modern rock charts. Does anybody know what the difference is between these two charts?

zeitgeist totally dominated.
and quite frankly, when it comes to CD sales charts in the US........i'm happy with #2. #2 is like total respect without the mass-apeal and easily-digestable bullshit that is required for a #1 CD sales in the US these days. you have to sell albums condusive to housewives drinking latte's at barnes-n-nobles to get a #1 US album.
