Default A Sunny Day Real Estate thread

I had always wanted to try them out, so today I bought "How It Feels to be Something On". I really, really like it. Is that CD a good introduction to the band? It had really cool packaging, and to be honest, that was the main factor in my decision making. (yeah, shut up)

On another note, I nominate "How It Feels to be Something On" as having the hardest book thingy to re-fold.

I have yet to hear this (as well as The Riding Tide) in its entirety. But I adore Diary and LP2.

Yeah HIFTBSO or Diary are great records to start off with. I started off with Diary. You should go get Diary, it is just as good if not better in my opinion.

Diary and Lp2 are also great records. The Rising Tide is a good record, but they kinda stray from indie rock and go for more of a prog rock album. By no means is it bad, but it's not their best work. Jeremy Enigk also has a solo album that is worth checking out too.

Nothing new for me to say. Get Diary.
Oh yeah, I love Rising Tide. Though I can see why others wouldn't like it as much, I think it's a magical album, has a lot to offer.

I think all of their albums are great. I'd get diary or rising tide next.

Yeah they're pretty good for an emo band.
