I had an office the first day I got to this job. The only people here with cubicles are the people who do payroll and office administration stuff.

I would like to point out that my office here in fresno is in a trailer, but it's a pretty nice office trailer. most of the offices are in the actual building but its too small to fit all of us. They bought more land to build, but I have a window!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my old one didnt have a window but it was twice as big

I prefer my basement office over my office in the corner, actually. I always feel I get more work done without the opportunity to gaze outside.

I am sick of people telling me I don't talk enough. I know I am quiet, it's not some new revelation. However, when you come up to me and say "you don't talk enough!!" you are pushing me right out of any comfort zone I had established with you and making me talk less. I get it that some people are really uncomfortable when people dont say a lot... blahblah am I plotting something evil in the corner, am I stuck up, am I just a weirdo. I just don't want to small talk about meaningless crap becuase it's a waste of my time and I'm not good at it.

I also like keeping my door shut so I don't have to listen to other people waste their times B.S.ing (and everyone wonders why it takes me such a short amount of time to do things, it's because I focus and dont waste time) but the second I shut my door everyone thinks I've got a problem or I hate them. Jesus Christ.

At least the other office I worked in, everyone minded their own business. They were very busy and talked to me becuase they wanted to and not becuase they wanted to procrastinate on doing work. And they traveled so much that noone even noticed I was there half the time unless I wanted them to notice.

I dont want to be given the work noone else wants to do. I am not being used to my full potential and everyone is so worried about puffing themselves up that they don't have time to worry about helping me out and giving me lots of responsibility. And I'm sick of listening to conversations of people around me and it's obvious they think they are sooooo important. Blahblah I'm doing this blahblah I'm so cool blahblah. Just do your job and shut up.

Wow we work in totally different fileds. but that is exactly my work situation also.
