I didn't even know they were doing the Ticketmaster presale until a few minutes ago.

Looks like both nights are being so individually for the pre-sale and then there is also a Two Night package available for sale tomorrow.

Maybe its because they gave out such piss poor ticket information but I haven't seen a pre-sale for a big band take this long to sell out. Demand seems a lot lower then I would have expected. If anyone misses out I am sure there will be deals on Craigslist later.

Pretty sure there will be better seats available on Massey Hall's website tomorrow. Always seems to be the case. Ticketbastard pre-sales are usually a joke.

yeah i think you're right... i hit the presale early and the best i got was front of the balcony.
i bet there will be better ones available tomorrow, and maybe even more closer to the actual date once they realize barely anyone bought the VIP tickets. would of been better if they gave us more notice... can't ask us fanboys to drop big bucks with just a few days heads up.
i'm just happy that i'll be going. getting good tickets for seated venues is too much drama for me.

Thanks!

I hate how presale don't automatically guarantee the best seats. I was just chatting with Ticketmaster and she couldn't even tell which seats were being held for tomorrow's general consumption vs. today's presale.

In the end I picked up Row R RCF. Pretty far back, but Massey Hall isn't that large either. I better not see better tickets come available tomorrow during the general sale. That happened when I picked up Clapton tickets a few years ago. Got Row 63 in the presale, the next day I could have got Row 13 in the regular sale.

Well if you don't want to be upset, don't try tomorrow :P. But I can almost tell you for sure that you'll be disheartened if you do check tomorrow.

Jesus Christ that was way more difficult than expected. I finally just gave up on ticketmaster and called Massey Hall directly. Ended up with Left Center Gallery Row A 52 for both nights. So all in all I guess I'm just happy I got through.

So the 2 day ticket package wasn't a deal or anything was it? It was just like separate tickets for each night.

I think a lot of scalpers managed to get their hands on tickets beforehand...whether it be through the presale or the vip packages...there are a ton of tickets up on Ebay.

As for the two night package, didn't see any difference in price but there's a section on Ticketmaster that talks about how we get three unreleased tracks if we buy the two night package. I first read about it on Hipsters United. Pretty cool.

As of 11:30am there is still tickets available for both shows on both Ticketmaster and the Massey Hall site. Nothing that great but there are still some seats, not sold out yet.

Hey guys im going to be going to the show and driving up from Buffalo. I got the September newsletter like 2 days ago after all the tickets went on sale. At that point in time is was the best idea to get a VIP ticket instead of buy from a scalper and get a terrible seat for 100 bucks. But ive always wanted to meet Billy and i dont know when i would get another chance so i paid the 300 dollars to meet him. Call me crazy but i think everyone is reading into this money hungry thing too much. Ive wanted to do this since i was 10 (im 18 now) and probly would want to my whole life so why not dish up the 300 to do it!? It comes down to he makes great music and id pay the money no matter who was in the band as long as i liked his music. Is anyone else doing this meet and greet ticket deal? im super excited to do it, although its putting me in debt i cant wait! i hope to see some true fans there and not just some rich kids who can afford it. Let me know what you guys think.
