Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero
Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight
Chevelle - Vena Sera

My four favorites of 2007

I'll have to add QOTSA's Era Vulgaris though.

Sarcasm or do you actually agree?

I've had too many arguments over M2M at echoingthesound.org, so I'm just checking.

Have you actually listened to Minutes to Midnight though? It's actually pretty good. But, Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero completely owns anything released so far.

i have. i downloaded the leak about a week ago. i thought a few songs were ok, but the album as a whole was kinda pathetic. it just doesn't sound like linkin park anymore. plus, isn't it only like 30 something minutes long?

edit: i lied, its 43 minutes. plus they try to be all "hard" by dropping a few f-bombs.

There's a lot of raw anger on Minutes to Midnight, but my only complaints is that they try to be cool and drop fuck all over the place, and there is too many ballads.

What's wrong with Year Zero? The most emotional, well-felt, epic album to come out this year so far. Better than that faggot Elliot Smith, or your favorite Avril Lavigne.
