Felt creative in the kitchen and made a cilantro lime avocado dressing for a beautifully rainbow-colored bowl of purple cabbage, shredded carrots, orange bell pepper, cucumber, mango, and chicken. Topped with cashews for crunch. Really refreshing and summery, I highly recommend it.

The sauce is always boss!

I made a recipe for the first time yesterday of swiss chard including its chopped stems, cannelini beans, and fire roasted tomatoes all cooked together with garlic and balsamic vinegar and placed on pasta. Good, but not a keeper...but good.

2021-2022 I really focused on Korean soups and Polish stews. Continuing with the recessionmaxxing, 2023 is the year of American casseroles and Italian pasta dishes.

my fav caucasian casserole is chicken with rice, cheddar cheese, and broccoli

my fav cast iron deal is chicken and orzo with leeks which is basically the same minus cheese

you should try caldo, which means soup but when you call it caldo it means something unto itself

Two cats. It's not been as bad as my anxiety was telling me it was gonna be but the one cat I've had for 8 years will only be calm if she's on my lap which means I can't drive. Sucks for my partner but he's a trooper .

The other cat cries whenever he's not asleep but he's been sleeping for like 98% of the trip.
