IIRC the kids are homeschooled so they're already like little hermits by the lake.

Now imagine being dead asleep and your 55 yo father, botched King Diamond makeup and gown and all, waking you up to throw you on a stage in front of a screaming crowd you probably can't even see. I mean...

that hotwheel barganing didn't seem to really work. I think auugie will be ok.

I imagine the scenario is more the "kids" wanna be on stage too.
and it's a "well if you want to be on stage you HAVE to do something. the stage is for entertaining. how do you want to entertain", and the kids on their own decided that they could dance.
but obviously they get shy when they're up there, but the good parent thing to say is "good job- you dance great!". i mean, what else do you say to your kids?
I imagine the limelight of the stage will fade and they'll stop caring about wanting it soon and then we'll never see them onstage.
Billy's trying to be normal with some pretty extraordinary circumstances of fame. it humanizes him. it's sweet.

Yep, kids just wanna be where their dad is. That’s normal.

Yeah, I mean, I felt the hotwheels bargain was a bit uncomfortable, but not to the point I'd berate Billy or anyone else for doing that. If I were their mom I'd ask him to be more careful next time, but that's about it lol

I'm getting increasingly uncomfortable with him trotting his kids out all the time; it really feels like he's using them to bolster his public image of "humble, reformed adult dad WPC who completely isn't the jerk he's always acted like."

Auggie is already rolling his eyes at old man Crogan: https://youtu.be/zBlIawcHUhE?t=2078

I think he'll be ok.

if you were 5, would you prefer to watch your dad from the audience? from the side stage? or on stage...

sooner than later kids stop caring.

I mean, if Billy and Chloe are both on the road together, where is he supposed to put those kids? Hire a nanny? Gosh! Chloe stay home with them and trust Billy out there by himself? Unthinkable.

They're too young to even remember this, really. I think it's pretty cute but I do agree with Shadaloo that this is probably for image in some way. It's okay to write softer, crappier songs if you're a DAD ffs.

That's the wonder of kids. You're always learning, and if you ever make a mistake, you can just make more and try again.

They’re worth a lot on the secondary market too, so a strong investment for those willing to accept the noble challenge of finding a fucking YouTube show they will fucking watch for at least 20 fucking minutes so u can jack off miserably to a lands end catalogue while pretending to poop

the only people calling his kids names on this site are full grown adults who should be looking after and worrying about their own kids.

To be fair, his kids have ridiculous names, which is the fault of the parents.

I say this as someone who has 2 daughters with space themed middle names. Sometimes those C section meds hit and you end up with a Juppitterr and a Clementine.

Poor fella's gonna regret it when Bolly's empire ultimately falls apart and he'll have to cram Augustus Juppiter in a Starbucks name tag

I agree. I think it's great for kids to join parent at work, and his work involves being on stage. I didn't like Billy asking them to perform.

He'll probably just change his name to Aidan or something.

But look, all this isn't fair on the kids. It's not their fault. It's the only world they know.

A friend of a friend tells me Chloe wanted to name him Drops Jupiter after her favorite song, and the final name was a compromise resulting from a lot of shouting and resentment

Wait, is "Auggy Jupe" meant to be mocking? I mean, it's kind of funny, but tbh no more than Augustus Jupiter, and that's entirely on the parents. Auggy Jupe always sounded like a light-hearted but also kind of affectionate way of referring to a kid who is innocent here.

Yeah, I sincerely hope no one has any ill will towards little kids. Give them time to earn our hatred by their own adult actions!

Oddly, I just found these screenshots retweeted onto my timeline (first tweet censored for, I'm gonna say, semi-NSFWness)

Thumbs up

i think nothing of it. i'm sure she was aware of the dangers, but felt safe enough letting her kids participate in some of what she did.

It 100% originated on netphoria, days after we learned the name. If it was reclaimed via an instagram post that’s cool but it didn’t come from SP camp

"Juuupiter!" Said by Kel Mitchell in that ugly wig. I envision this every time I read this boy's name.

As a fan, I don't wanna see the kids on stage at a big shows/ venues. It kills the vibe.

However, as a girl dad, I will say, I thought it was cute and fun at this small acoustic show. I don't know their names, but the way his daughter looks at him and dances around is priceless.
