well, their first album isn't exactly epic or anything. basically track 1 then a pile of junk until the great Maps/Y Control/Modern Romance trio.

their first two albums are much weaker but Alligator--> Boxer --> High Violet --> Trouble Will Find Me

that's as powerful a quartet of consecutive albums as I can think of by any artist
