My next-door neighbours are forcing me to listen to 'Mad World'
(that version used in Donnie Darko)
I thought they were older than 14. For fuck's sake, turn it down, it's one in the morning. |

No, but I quickly got sick of it, and to this day I can't stand it at all.
They also played Where Is My Mind? and Creep. |

Those sound like a good selection.
One time, when I was with my ex, my then current bf, it was 4AM on a Tuesday morning and his roommates were playing that "A Bay Bay" (sp?) song loudly and partying. I had to wake up at like 7AM! I was all "WTF?!?! IT'S TUESDAY!!!!" Last edited by noir cat : 09-10-2008 at 08:20 PM. |

It's not so much the choice of songs that bugs me; it's the volume, really.

No, I'm hypocrite, I can't really knock on their door and tell them to shut it. I mean, I could, but they didn't say a word those millions of times the noise was coming from our apartment, so... yeah.

so basically you made a thread in which you bitch about something you're really in no position to bitch about, wasting our time thinking of advice that is entirely useless to you
i want to see you get out of this one, "antipop" |

I don't like it when you say it like that. At all.
And yeah, you're right, like I admitted in my previous post. Also: To think that I'd only make a thread like this for advice rather than just bitching around is truly hilarious. You should know me better - I'm a pussy. Plus, I really like my neighbours, actually. |

I don't like it. No-one calls me that. And most importantly, "ritz" is the singular imperative of the German word for scarifying or cutting, and I don't like that suffix giving my groovy nickname a bad touch.

I think this is the song they play on the radio, sans the beginning, no? This is the "A Bay Bay" song that I had to listen to one painful morning. |
