Yeah, it soooooooo should have been the no.1 single ahead of walking shade.
Personally i have never been aroused by another blokes voice, even one as high and whiny as Billy's, but whatever floats your boat. |

i'm not talking about his voice; i'm talking about the atmospherics and how well they're layered over the riffs. its sexy

I agree. That song kicks ass. I like Walking Shade a lot too, but Mina Loy would have been a great 1st single. That song would have been a hit on the radio for sure.

Ahhh, when that opening riff came on at the concerts, with the light show and everything......
Stunning. |

Not enough appreciation has been given to what is happening with the lyrics on that album. If you heard Mina Loy on the radio as a single, you would think the whole "I resolve to never change" thing was serious. But on the album, coming right after he repeats "All things change" a hundred times, you realize that the lyrics in Mina Loy are, dare I say, rather ironic?

i agree, mina loy is wicked. but in terms of sexyness i reckon TheCameraEye owns Mina Loy pretty badly. now that beat is sexy

I will agree that this is the best song off of TFE... but hardly the best song of the century. It has failed to arouse me. Maybe I am just audio-impotent. Do they make Viagra eardrops?
